Bennett Studios Recital. Englewood NJ. Selected 5 and 7 year NJMTA
trophy winners past and present will have the opportunity to record a recital
with renowned engineer, Dae Bennett, at his studio in Englewood. Sample edits will be shown, and students can get a glimpse behind the scenes of a real recording studio. All students will receive cds of their performance.

Steinway Recital.
Steinway Piano Gallery, Rte 17 South, Paramus, NJ.
Qualifying intermediate and advanced students aged 11 and older. All solo performances must be performed from memory. Hosted by Steinway representative, Joseph Nagy. Semi formal.
February Dates TBA:
NJMTA Annual Piano Festival. Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ. Intermediate and advanced students with a minimum of 6 months of piano with Ms. Lafharis. Two contrasting authentic classical pieces at least 18 measures in length must be performed from memory. No simplified music or pop/jazz allowed. Students will be evaluated as "excellent", "very good", "good", "fair". A rating of "excellent" or "very good" for three years will merit a gold medal, and, 5 or 7 years, a trophy. Significant achievement for college bound students.
Friday, June 8 & Friday, June 15, 6:00 p.m.
End of the
school year recitals.
Ridgewood Public Library
Club Lafharis members only. Minimum of 6 months study with Ms. Lafharis. All ages and levels. One Halloween Keyboard recital required for experience. All pieces, except for duets, must be performed from memory. Music of student's choice, as well as classical pieces. Be there or miss the fun!
